5-DAY NEW JERSEY/EPA-MODEL LEAD INSPECTOR/RISK ASSESSOR INITIAL

Based on the New Jersey and EPA-model curriculum, this course covers the technical and legal aspects of lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments. Utilizing lecture, discussion, hands-on training and practice advice from experienced inspectors and risk assessors, students will learn state-of-the-art methods for determining lead in paint, soil and dust. Hands-on practice features a field trip where a mock inspection and risk assessment takes place. The risk assessment segments of the course covers issues relating to the in-place management of lead hazards.
