Course Description:
Education and Experience Requirements
Prior to training, all individuals applying for a Lead Supervisor for Housing and Public Buildings permit must certify that they meet the minimum education and experience requirements as set forth at N.J.A.C. 8:62-3.2(e). A permit will be issued only to those applicants who meet the following:
1. A minimum of one (1) year experience as a lead abatement worker; and
2. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a related field or the construction trades.
Course Topics Include: Overview of Lead Uses and Hazards, Federal and State Regulations and Guidelines, Project Management, Worker Protection and Safety, Occupant Protection, Lead-Based Paint Mitigation, Legal and Insurance Issues, Future Trends and Issues
