Course Description:
The EPA Lead Renovator Initial Training course is designed for contractors, maintenance personnel, property managers, painters, carpenters, remodelers, and other professionals who perform renovation, repair, or painting activities in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978.
This comprehensive course provides the knowledge and hands-on skills required to become an EPA Certified Renovator under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule (40 CFR Part 745). Participants will learn how to safely perform renovation activities that disturb lead-based paint while protecting building occupants, workers, and the surrounding environment from lead exposure.
